That long flowing riverA
It almost took my soulB
Was it not the diverA
I could not hold the sayC
The waves struck the stormD
Too deep to the banks and the damE
-
Where on earth had seenF
Such horror in daylightG
More terror on the sceneF
It swept the streetH
Down the streamsI
Was filled with screamsI
-
A huge manmade bridgeJ
Structured more like a caveK
In it there was a scratchL
So it wasn t safeM
That it could carry the floodN
It almost made it flatO
