Ruined is the vineyardA
The land that bore fruitsB
Yes My homelandC
Barren it is todayD
-
Mourning since morningE
It is almost noonF
No joy comingE
The tools are downG
-
The ground is laughingE
Nevertheless no voice is heardA
Loud the farmers are cryingE
No harvest No figs to cutH
All dried upI
-
Woe to the farmersJ
Who knew not the seasonK
It was summerL
Had they knew the precautionK
It's now overL
It is over dear farmersJ
