It is almost dark no lightA
The race is endedB
With sympathy I feel weakC
Our hero has departedB
To the soil has goneD
The spirit to the skyE

The rhythm almost frownG
As the river flowedH
The beautiful moments have goneD
There is grief in my heartI
It's almost fructuredI

Where's hopeJ
Like flies our loved ones are getting coldI
Homes have been rendered doomK
Little children are lacking healthyL
There's no help at allM
Only God to interveneN

The song is endedI
Nevertheless the melody lingers loudI
The mourners are singing as setI
To the end the trial is foughtI
Up the sky the sun seems sinkingO
Darkness swallows the lightI
Dim It is dim in and outI
