Sonnet Cxv Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A B CDDCCDDCEFGEHH I

Quando 'l voler che con duo sproni ardentiA
-
HER LOOKS BOTH COMFORT AND CHECK HIMB
-
-
When with two ardent spurs and a hard reinC
Passion my daily life who rules and leadsD
From time to time the usual law exceedsD
That calm at least in part my spirits may gainC
It findeth her who on my forehead plainC
The dread and daring of my deep heart readsD
And seeth Love to punish its misdeedsD
Lighten her piercing eyes with worse disdainC
Wherefore as one who fears the impending blowE
Of angry Jove it back in haste retiresF
For great fears ever master great desiresG
But the cold fire and shrinking hopes which soE
Lodge in my heart transparent as a glassH
O'er her sweet face at times make gleams of grace to passH
