That I may die to my flesh and not live
That I may long in the spirit and absent in the flesh
That my mind be renewed
That my vile body be changed
Here with me I bring
Here with me I cling
Here with me a pure olive oil
Beaten unto the light
That my lamp may burn continually before thee
That I may die and not live
Dead to my flesh, alive in my spirit
For unto for the spirit I've come to cling
Extemporaneously I write ambidextrously
They say I'm idiosyncratic
I say it's not fortuitous it's a privilege
To die is gain, I will.

Mercy Jones: I love the poem, for I am crucified with Christ, and the life I live in the flesh,I live by faith in the son of God, who loves me and gave himself for me. May the fullness of Christ be made manifest in me.
Saviours come on Mount Zion. Amen. I live in Australia. Love Mercy
