| Of watching those two | B |
| Always playing outside my window | C |
| Mocking me as I become old | D |
| And each time I grab them | E |
| In my arms they laugh once more | F |
| One expands the other reduces | G |
| They escape me in seconds | H |
| But I feel forced to smile | I |
| As if being patted on the back | J |
| I return to my couch for a nap | K |
| And dare not opt for a good sleep | L |
| When it is sunset I'd surely be asked | M |
| About those two I left outside playing | N |
