The Discreet Collector Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCD EFEFGDGD AHAHIDID JIJIFDFD CKCKLDLD

Down south there is a curio shopA
Unknown to many menB
Thereat do I intend to stopA
When I am south againB
The narrow street through which to goC
Aha I know it wellD
And may be you would like to knowC
But no I will not tellD
-
'T is there to find the loveliest platesE
The bluest of the blueF
At such surprisingly low ratesE
You'd not believe it trueF
And there is one Napoleon vaseG
Of dainty Sevres to sellD
I'm sure you'd like to know that placeG
But no I will not tellD
-
Then too I know another shopA
Has old old beds for saleH
With lovely testers up on topA
Carved in ornate detailH
And there are sideboards rich and rareI
With fronts that proudly swellD
Oh there are bargains waiting thereI
But where I will not tellD
-
And hark I know a bottle manJ
Smiling and debonairI
And he has promised me I canJ
Choose of his precious wareI
In age and shape and color tooF
His dainty goods excelD
Aha my friends if you but knewF
But no I will not tellD
-
A thousand other shops I knowC
Where bargains can be gotK
Where other folk would like to goC
Who have what I have notK
I let them hunt I hold my mouthL
Yes though I know full wellD
Where lie the treasures of the southL
I'm not a going to tellD
