Rhyme Scheme: ABCCBDEFE EGCCGDEHE ECIICJEKE

When baby wakes of morningsA
Then it's wake ye people allB
For another dayC
Of song and playC
Has come at our darling's callB
And till she gets her dinnerD
She makes the welkin ringE
And she won't keep still till she's had her fillF
The cunnin' little thingE
-
When baby goes a walkingE
Oh how her paddies flyG
For that's the wayC
The babies sayC
To other folk by byG
The trees bend down to kiss herD
And the birds in rapture singE
As there she stands and waves her handsH
The cunnin' little thingE
-
When baby goes a rockingE
In her bed at close of dayC
At hide and seekI
On her dainty cheekI
The dreams and the dimples playC
Then it's sleep in the tender kissesJ
The guardian angels bringE
From the Far Above to my sweetest loveK
You cunnin' little thingE
