Some Time Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCD EFEFCDCD GHIHCDCD

Last night my darling as you sleptA
I thought I heard you sighB
And to your little crib I creptA
And watched a space therebyB
And then I stooped and kissed your browC
For oh I love you soD
You are too young to know it nowC
But some time you shall knowD
-
Some time when in a darkened placeE
Where others come to weepF
Your eyes shall look upon a faceE
Calm in eternal sleepF
The voiceless lips the wrinkled browC
The patient smile shall showD
You are too young to know it nowC
But some time you may knowD
-
Look backward then into the yearsG
And see me here to nightH
See O my darling how my tearsI
Are falling as I writeH
And feel once more upon your browC
The kiss of long agoD
You are too young to know it nowC
But some time you shall knowD
