Morning Song Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCDEFEFGHGHHGH

The eastern sky is streaked with redA
The weary night is doneB
And from his distant ocean bedA
Rolls up the morning sunB
The dew like tiny silver beadsC
Bespread o'er velvet greenD
Is scattered on the wakeful meadsC
By angel hands unseenD
Good morrow robin in the treesE
The star eyed daisy criesF
Good morrow sings the morning breezeE
Unto the ruddy skiesF
Good morrow every living thingG
Kind Nature seems to sayH
And all her works devoutly singG
A hymn to birth of dayH
So haste without delayH
Haste fairy friends on silver wingG
And to your homes awayH
