Heine's "widow Or Daughter?" Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CACA DADA

Shall I woo the one or otherA
Both attract me more's the pityB
Pretty is the widowed motherA
And the daughter too is prettyB
-
When I see that maiden shrinkingC
By the gods I swear I'll get 'erA
But anon I fall to thinkingC
That the mother 'll suit me betterA
-
So like any idiot assD
Hungry for the fragrant fodderA
Placed between two bales of grassD
Lo I doubt delay and dodderA
