Chicago Weather Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBBCDCDEFEFGHGH

To day fair Thisbe winsome girlA
Strays o'er the meads where daisies blowB
Or ling'ring where the brooklets purlB
Laves in the cool refreshing flowB
To morrow Thisbe with a hostC
Of amorous suitors in her trainD
Comes like a goddess forth to coastC
Or skate upon the frozen mainD
To day sweet posies mark her trackE
While birds sing gayly in the treesF
To morrow morn her sealskin sackE
Defies the piping polar breezeF
So Doris is to day enthusedG
By Thisbe's soft responsive sighsH
And on the morrow is confusedG
By Thisbe's cold repellent eyesH
