Armenian Lullaby Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCCCDE FGFHBBBIJ CKCCAAABF

If thou wilt shut thy drowsy eyesA
My mulberry one my golden sunB
The rose shall sing thee lullabiesA
My pretty cosset lambkinB
And thou shalt swing in an almond treeC
With a flood of moonbeams rocking theeC
A silver boat in a golden seaC
My velvet love my nestling doveD
My own pomegranate blossomE
-
The stork shall guard thee passing wellF
All night my sweet my dimple feetG
And bring thee myrrh and asphodelF
My gentle rain of springtimeH
And for thy slumbrous play shall twineB
The diamond stars with an emerald vineB
To trail in the waves of ruby wineB
My myrtle bloom my heart's perfumeI
My little chirping sparrowJ
-
And when the morn wakes up to seeC
My apple bright my soul's delightK
The partridge shall come calling theeC
My jar of milk and honeyC
Yes thou shalt know what mystery liesA
In the amethyst deep of the curtained skiesA
If thou wilt fold thy onyx eyesA
You wakeful one you naughty sonB
You cooing little turtleF
