An Autumn Treasure-trove Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCC DEDECC FGFGCC HIHICC

'Tis the time of the year's sundown and flameA
Hangs on the maple boughB
And June is the faded flower of a nameA
The thin hedge hides not a singer nowB
Yet rich am I for my treasures beC
The gold afloat in my willow treeC
-
Sweet morn on the hillside dripping with dewD
Girded with blue and pearlE
Counts the leaves afloat in the streamlet tooD
As the love lorn heart of a wistful girlE
She sings while her soul brooding tearfullyC
Sees a dream of gold in the willow treeC
-
All day pure white and saffron at eveF
Clouds awaiting the sunG
Turn them at length to ghosts that leaveF
When the moon's white path is slowly runG
Till the morning comes and with joy for meC
O'er my gold agleam in the willow treeC
-
The lilacs that blew on the breast of MayH
Are an old and lost delightI
And the rose lies ruined in his careless wayH
As the wind turns the poplars underwhiteI
Yet richer am I for the autumn seeC
All my misty gold in the willow treeC
