Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEAA FFCCGGGFFHHAA

Go Cupid and my sweetheart tellA
I love her wellA
Yes though she tramples on my heartB
And rends that bleeding thing apartB
And though she rolls a scornful eyeC
On doting me when I go byC
And though she scouts at everythingD
As tribute unto her I bringD
Apple banana caramelE
Haste Cupid to my love and tellA
In spite of all I love her wellA
-
And further say I have a sledF
Cushioned in blue and painted redF
The groceryman has promised IC
Can hitch whenever he goes byC
Go tell her that and furthermoreG
Apprise my sweetheart that a scoreG
Of other little girls imploreG
The boon of riding on that sledF
Painted and hitched as aforesaidF
And tell her Cupid only sheH
Shall ride upon that sled with meH
Tell her this all and further tellA
I love her wellA
