A Paraphrase Iii Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CBCB DEDE

How happens it my cruel missA
You're always giving me the mittenB
You seem to have forgotten thisA
That you no longer are a kittenB
-
A woman that has reached the yearsC
Of that which people call discretionB
Should put aside all childish fearsC
And see in courtship no transgressionB
-
A mother's solace may be sweetD
But Hymen's tenderness is sweeterE
And though all virile love be meetD
You'll find the poet's love is metreE
