Dedicated to Bulama CartoonsA
Saw a cartoonB
By Bulama my friendC
And thought it goodD
And worth sharing with youE
-
A man ready for a tripF
Sat behind the wheelsG
As his wife bade him farewellH
You may use all the moneyI
In the 'oza' other accountJ
-
But please don't I repeatK
Don't touch the consolidated Ransom AccountJ
Why You ask ExigenciesL
As he made the journey he knewE
He may like Uncle Jonah in the fish's bellyI
end up in the den of kidnappers and robbersM
-
Who run the roads as the lion runs the jungleN
The ransom account would come handyI
To negotiate his freedom for even the policeO
Soldiers and government functionariesL
Pay ransom or mortgage to hoodlums to move about freelyI
-
Who then is the son of a bloody 'talakawa'P
That he'd not make arrangements in advanceQ
For his release for as my people sayR
The chicken with stunted legs begins the raceS
Against rain early enough long before the rains Start to avoid being drenchedT
