Glee-The great storm is over-
Four-have recovered the Land-
Forty-gone down together-
Into the boiling Sand-
Ring-for the Scant Salvation-
Toll-for the bonnie Souls-
Neighbor-and friend-and Bridegroom-
Spinning upon the Shoals-
How they will tell the Story-
When Winter shake the Door-
Till the Children urge-
But the Forty-
Did they-come back no more?
Then a softness-suffuse the Story-
And a silence-the Teller's eye-
And the Children-no further question-
And only the Sea-reply-
