Recalled Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAACCA DEEDED

Long after there were none of them aliveA
About the place where there is now no placeB
But a walled hole where fruitless vines embraceB
Their parent skeletons that yet surviveA
In evil thorns none of us could arriveA
At a more cogent answer to their waysC
Than one old Isaac in his latter daysC
Had humor or compassion to contriveA
-
I mentioned them and Isaac shook his headD
The Power that you call yours and I call mineE
Extinguished in the last of them a lineE
That Satan would have disinheritedD
When we are done with all but the DivineE
We die And there was no more to be saidD
