Where's the need of singing nowA
Smooth your browA
Momus and be reconciledB
For King Kronos is a childB
Child and fatherC
Or god ratherC
And all gods are wildB
-
Who reads Byron any moreD
Shut the doorD
Momus for I feel a draughtE
Shut it quick for some one laughedE
What's become ofF
Browning Some ofF
Wordsworth lumbers like a raftE
-
What are poets to find hereG
Have no fearH
When the stars are shining blueI
There will yet be left a fewI
Themes availingJ
And these failingJ
Momus there'll be youI
