Kosmos Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCAABBA DEDEDE

Ah shuddering men that falter and shrink soA
To look on death what were the days we liveB
Where life is half a struggle to forgiveC
But for the love that finds us when we goA
Is God a jester Does he laugh and throwA
Poor branded wretches here to sweat and striveB
For some vague end that never shall arriveB
And is He not yet weary of the showA
-
Think of it all ye millions that have plannedD
And only planned the largess of hard youthE
Think of it all ye builders on the sandD
Whose works are down Is love so small forsoothE
Be brave To morrow you will understandD
The doubt the pain the triumph and the TruthE
