The Dark Forest Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCE FBFB

Dark is the forest and deep and overheadA
Hang stars like seeds of lightB
In vain though not since they were sown was bredA
Anything more brightB
-
And evermore mighty multitudes rideC
About nor enter inD
Of the other multitudes that dwell insideC
Never yet was one seenE
-
The forest foxglove is purple the margueriteF
Outside is gold and whiteB
Nor can those that pluck either blossom greetF
The others day or nightB
