Tall Nettles Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEFE

TALL nettles cover up as they have doneA
These many springs the rusty harrow the ploughB
Long worn out and the roller made of stoneC
Only the elm butt tops the nettles nowB
-
This corner of the farmyard I like mostD
As well as any bloom upon a flowerE
I like the dust on the nettles never lostF
Except to prove the sweetness of a showerE
