Interval Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDEF GHGH IJIJ KLKL MNON PQPR SLST

Gone the wild dayA
A wilder nightB
Coming makes wayA
For brief twilightB
-
Where the firm soaked roadC
Mounts and is lostD
In the high beech woodE
It shines almostF
-
The beeches keepG
A stormy restH
Breathing deepG
Of wind from the westH
-
The wood is blackI
With a misty steamJ
Above the cloud packI
Breaks for one gleamJ
-
But the woodman's cotK
By the ivied treesL
Awakens notK
To light or breezeL
-
It smokes aloftM
UnwaveringN
It hunches softO
Under storm's wingN
-
It has no careP
For gleam or gloomQ
It stays thereP
While I shall roamR
-
Die and forgetS
The hill of treesL
The gleam the wetS
This roaring peaceT
