First Known When Lost Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBA CDDC EBBF GHHI

I never had noticed it untilA
'Twas gone the narrow copseB
Where now the woodman lopsB
The last of the willows with his billA
-
It was not more than a hedge overgrownC
One meadow's breadth awayD
I passed it day by dayD
Now the soil is bare as boneC
-
And black betwixt two meadows greenE
Though fresh cut fag got endsB
Of hazel made some amendsB
With a gleam as if flowers they had beenF
-
Strange it could have hidden so nearG
And now I see as I lookH
That the small winding brookH
A tributary's tributary rises thereI
