Cock-crow Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDD

OUT of the wood of thoughts that grows by nightA
To be cut down by the sharp ax of lightA
Out of the night two cocks together crowB
Cleaving the darkness with a silver blowB
And brought before my eyes twin trumpeters standC
Heralds of splendor one at either handC
Each facing each as in a coat of armsD
The milkers lace their boots up at the farmsD
