Rhyme Scheme: A BCDEFG GHIJJK LMNOOP QRCNOS TSIOUCJVWXGQ L

nobody loses all the timeA
-
i had an uncle namedB
Sol who was a born failure andC
nearly everybody said he should have goneD
into vaudeville perhaps because my Uncle Sol couldE
sing McCann He Was A Diver on Xmas Eve like Hell Itself whichF
may or may not account for the fact that my UncleG
-
Sol indulged in that possibly most inexcusableG
of all to use a highfalootin phraseH
luxuries that is or toI
wit farming and beJ
it needlesslyJ
addedK
-
my Uncle Sol's farmL
failed because the chickensM
ate the vegetables soN
my Uncle Sol had aO
chicken farm till theO
skunks ate the chickens whenP
-
my Uncle SolQ
had a skunk farm butR
the skunks caught cold andC
died and soN
my Uncle Sol imitated theO
skunks in a subtle mannerS
-
or by drowning himself in the watertankT
but somebody who'd given my Uncle Sol a VictorS
Victrola and records while he lived presented toI
him upon the auspicious occasion of his decease aO
scruptious not to mention splendiferous funeral withU
tall boys in black gloves and flowers and everything andC
i remember we all cried like the MissouriJ
when my Uncle Sol's coffin lurched becauseV
somebody pressed a buttonW
and down wentX
my UncleG
SolQ
-
and started a worm farmL
