childish more beautiful almost than youA

be these haunters of dreams always demurelyB
halfsmiling from cool faces moving purelyB
with muted steps yet somewhat proudly tooA

are they not ladies ladies of my dreamsD
justly touching roses their fingers whitelyB

or betterF
queens queens laughing lightlyB
crowned with far colorsG

of nothing and whom dawn loves most to touchH
