The Willow Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCB DEDE

On sweet young earth where the myrtle pressesA
Long we lay when the May was newB
The willow was winding the moon in her tressesC
The bud of the rose was told with dewB
-
And now on the brittle ground I'm lyingD
Screaming to die with the dead year's deadE
The stem of the rose is black and dryingD
The willow is tossing the wind from her headE
