Symptom Recital Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: AABBCCDDEEFFGGHHIIJJ

I do not like my state of mindA
I'm bitter querulous unkindA
I hate my legs I hate my handsB
I do not yearn for lovelier landsB
I dread the dawn's recurrent lightC
I hate to go to bed at nightC
I snoot at simple earnest folkD
I cannot take the gentlest jokeD
I find no peace in paint or typeE
My world is but a lot of tripeE
I'm disillusioned empty breastedF
For what I think I'd be arrestedF
I am not sick I am not wellG
My quondam dreams are shot to hellG
My soul is crushed my spirit soreH
I do not like me any moreH
I cavil quarrel grumble grouseI
I ponder on the narrow houseI
I shudder at the thought of menJ
I'm due to fall in love againJ
