Portrait Of The Artist Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFEF

Oh lead me to a quiet cellA
Where never footfall ranklesB
And bar the window passing wellA
And gyve my wrists and anklesB
-
Oh wrap my eyes with linen fairC
With hempen cord go bind meD
And of your mercy leave me thereC
Nor tell them where to find meD
-
Oh lock the portal as you goE
And see its bolts be doubleF
Come back in half an hour or soE
And I will be in troubleF
