Interior Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABAB CDCD EFEF

Her mind lives in a quiet roomA
A narrow room and tallB
With pretty lamps to quench the gloomA
And mottoes on the wallB
-
There all the things are waxen neatC
And set in decorous linesD
And there are posies round and sweetC
And little straightened vinesD
-
Her mind lives tidily apartE
From cold and noise and painF
And bolts the door against her heartE
Out wailing in the rainF
