I Know I Have Been Happiest Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCAABBA DEFDGF

I know I have been happiest at your sideA
But what is done is done and all's to beB
And small the good to linger dolefullyC
Gayly it lived and gallantly it diedA
I will not make you songs of hearts deniedA
And you being man would have no tears of meB
And should I offer you fidelityB
You'd be I think a little terrifiedA
-
Yet this the need of woman this her curseD
To range her little gifts and give and giveE
Because the throb of giving's sweet to bearF
To you who never begged me vows or verseD
My gift shall be my absence while I liveG
But after that my dear I cannot swearF
