Finis Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABABCDCD EFEGCHIH

Now it's over and now it's doneA
Why does everything look the sameB
Just as bright the unheeding sunA
Can't it see that the parting cameB
People hurry and work and swearC
Laugh and grumble and die and wedD
Ponder what they will eat and wearC
Don't they know that our love is deadD
-
Just as busy the crowded streetE
Cars and wagons go rolling onF
Children chuckle and lovers meetE
Don't they know that our love is goneG
No one pauses to pay a tearC
None walks slow for the love that's throughH
I might mention my recent dearI
I've reverted to normal tooH
