Someone Is Harshly Coughing As Before Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCACDED FAGHHA IJKJJA LMJANJA

Someone is harshly coughing on the next floorA
Sudden excitement catching the flesh of his throatB
Who is the sick oneC
Who will knock at the doorA
Ask what is wrong and sweetly pay attentionC
The shy withdrawal of the sensitive faceD
Embarrassing both but double shame is tenderE
We will mind our ignorant business keep our placeD
-
But it is God who has caught cold againF
Wandering helplessly in the world once moreA
Now he is phthisic and he is poor KeatsG
Pardon O Father unknowable Dear this wordH
Only the cartoon is lucid only the curse is heardH
Longing for Eden afraid of the coming warA
-
The past a giant shadow like the twilightI
The moving street on which the autos slideJ
The buildings' heights like broken teethK
Repeat necessity on every sideJ
The age requires death and is not deniedJ
He has come as a young man to be hanged once moreA
-
Another exile bare his complex careL
When smoke in silence curvesM
from every fallen sideJ
Pity and Peace return padding the broken floorA
With heavy feetN
Their linen hands will hideJ
In the stupid opiate the exhausted warA
