Archaic Bust Of Apollo Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: A BCCB DEED FFG GHI

After RilkeA
-
We cannot know the indescribable faceB
Where the eyes like apples ripened Even soC
His torso has a candelabra's glowC
His gaze contained as in a mirror's graceB
-
Shines within it Otherwise his breastD
Would not be dazzling Nor would you recognizeE
The smile that moves along his curving thighsE
There where love's strength is caught within its nestD
-
This stone would not be broken but intactF
Beneath the shoulders' flowing cataractF
Nor would it glisten like a stallion's hideG
-
Brimming with radiance from every sideG
As a star sparkles Now it is dawn once moreH
All places scrutinize you You must be rebornI
