Rhyme Scheme: ABCC DDDD EEFG HIJJ KLMM NOON DP KQR SSDT

Caught in a maze trying to surviveA
Some days a hopeless strifeB
Going deeper and deeper getting lostC
Overpowered by a hopeless frostC
-
The maze trying to engulf meD
If only an outcome I could seeD
Oh of this situation I wish to be freeD
but I doubt the surfacing of gleeD
-
The hopelessness overpowersE
Standing over us like dark towersE
The darkness sipping my brave soulF
leaving me a coward foolG
-
Seeking for the light to escapeH
all exits a fooling fakeI
Tangled in an agonizing chainJ
please help me to stay saneJ
-
Seeing the sound in my earsK
A fooling hope I fearL
Giving me false hopeM
then let going of the ropeM
-
Fighting back with all I possessN
Wanting to get out of this hellO
Step by step getting out of the troubled wellO
Against the wall with hope I pressN
-
Trying to survive what the world throws at meD
Unable to flee the heartless coldP
-
A voice reaches my earsK
I see my salvation disappears the devastationQ
The great full tearsR
-
I exit the maze with a smileS
my heart no longer in exileS
I stepped out in victoryD
I survived to tell the taleT
