Poet's note: Naduh Mynta— Let your voice be heard" is an original poem composed by me. English language have been used to write this poem with the combination of Khasi and Jaiñtia dialects. This poem is a tribute to all the beautiful women who are an integral part of our lives. Women and girls are effective and powerful leaders and change-makers for climate adaptation and mitigation. This poem want us to forget our differences and to come together in unity, as mentioned from the above lines, "ai keiñ ka kti, ngan bat kumne'. It repeatedly remind us that nobody is different and peculiar. No matter who you are, you deserve Love, Care and Respect from people surrounding you and or from society as a whole. Gender stereotyping is wrongful when it results in a violation or violations of human rights and fundamental freedoms. This poem will make you realize how we human, this generation can bring change, for the sustainable tommorow. This emotional lines, "Let them speak their minds, 'ai bynta lem!'You and I will beat gender bias" tries to highlight the point that the fight isn't against each other but to come in one position. It's only when we stand, Value and Support each other, We can Break this inequality, stereotypes or bias.
