Words On The Window-pane Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAACCADEFDEF

DID she in summer write it or in springA
Or with this wail of autumn at her earsB
Or in some winter left among old yearsB
Scratched it through tettered cark A certain thingA
That round her heart the frost was hardeningA
Not to be thawed of tears which on this paneC
Channelled the rime perchance in fevered rainC
For false man's sake and love's most bitter stingA
Howbeit between this last word and the nextD
Unwritten subtly seasoned was the smartE
And here at least the grace to weep if sheF
Rather midway in her disconsolate textD
Rebelled not loathing from the trodden heartE
That thing which she had found man's love to beF
