To Thomas Woolner Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCCBBDDBAEAAFA

First Snow FebruaryA
WOOLNER to night it snows for the first timeB
Our feet know well the path where in this snowC
Mine leave one track how all the ways we knowC
Are hoary in the long unwonted rimeB
Grey as their ghosts which now in your new climeB
Must haunt you while those singing spirits reapD
All night the field of hospitable sleepD
Whose song past the whole sea finds counter chimeB
Can the year change and I not think of theeA
With whom so many changes of the yearE
So many years were watched our love's degreeA
Alone the same Ah still for thee and meA
Winter or summer Woolner here or thereF
One grief one joy one loss one victoryA
