The World-s Doing Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBACDECDE

ONE scarce would think that we can be the sameA
Who used in those first childish Junes to creepB
With held breath through the underwood and leapB
Outside into the sun Since this mine aimA
Took me unto itself the joy which cameA
Into my eyes at once sits hushed and deepB
Nor even the sorrow moans but falls asleepB
And has ill dreams For you your very nameA
Seems altered in mine ears and cannot sendC
Heat through my heart as in those days afarD
Wherein we lived indeed with the real lifeE
Yet why should we feel shame my dear sweet friendC
Are they most honoured who without a scarD
Pace forth all trim and fresh from the splashed strifeE
