The Choice: 01 Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABCA DEFFEG

Eat thou and drink to morrow thou shalt dieA
Surely the earth that s wise being very oldB
Needs not our help Then loose me love and holdB
Thy sultry hair up from my face that IA
May pour for thee this yellow wine brim highA
Till round the glass thy fingers glow like goldB
We'll drown all hours thy song while hours toil'dC
Shall leap as fountains veil the changing skyA
-
Now kiss and think that there are really thoseD
My own high bosomed beauty who increaseE
Vain gold vain lore and yet might choose our wayF
Through many days they toil then comes a dayF
They die not never having lived but ceaseE
And round their narrow lips the mould falls closeG
