Sonnet Xxxi: Her Gifts Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCAACCCDBBDEF

High grace the dower of queens and therewithalA
Some wood born wonder's sweet simplicityB
A glance like water brimming with the skyC
Or hyacinth light where forest shadows fallA
Such thrilling pallor of cheek as doth enthralA
The heart a mouth whose passionate forms implyC
All music and all silence held therebyC
Deep golden locks her sovereign coronalC
A round reared neck meet column of Love's shrineD
To cling to when the heart takes sanctuaryB
Hands which for ever at Love's bidding beB
And soft stirred feet still answering to his signD
These are her gifts as tongue may tell them o'erE
Breathe low her name my soul for that means moreF
