Sonnet Xci: Lost On Both Sides Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBACDEFGH

As when two men have loved a woman wellA
Each hating each through Love's and Death's deceitB
Since not for either this stark marriage sheetB
And the long pauses of this wedding bellA
Yet o'er her grave the night and day dispelA
At last their feud forlorn with cold and heatB
Nor other than dear friends to death may fleetB
The two lives left that most of her can tellA
So separate hopes which in a soul had wooedC
The one same Peace strove with each other longD
And Peace before their faces perished sinceE
So through that soul in restless brotherhoodF
They roam together now and wind amongG
Its bye streets knocking at the dusty innsH
