Sonnet Lxxxiv: Farewell To The Glen Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCAABCADEDEDE

Sweet stream fed glen why say farewell to theeA
Who far'st so well and find'st for ever smoothB
The brow of Time where man may read no ruthC
Nay do thou rather say farewell to meA
Who now fare forth in bitterer fantasyA
Than erst was mine where other shade might sootheB
By other streams what while in fragrant youthC
The bliss of being sad made melancholyA
And yet farewell For better shalt thou fareD
When children bathe sweet faces in thy flowE
And happy lovers blend sweet shadows thereD
In hours to come than when an hour agoE
Thine echoes had but one man's sighs to bearD
And thy trees whispered what he feared to knowE
