Sonnet Lxv: Known In Vain Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABCAADCAEFEFFE

As two whose love first foolish widening scopeA
Knows suddenly to music high and softB
The Holy of holies who because they scoff'dC
Are now amazed with shame nor dare to copeA
With the whole truth aloud lest heaven should opeA
Yet at their meetings laugh not as they laugh'dD
In speech nor speak at length but sitting oftC
Together within hopeless sight of hopeA
For hours are silent So it happenethE
When Work and Will awake too late to gazeF
After their life sailed by and hold their breathE
Ah who shall dare to search through what sad mazeF
Thenceforth their incommunicable waysF
Follow the desultory feet of DeathE
