Silent Noon Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBBBCCB DDEFGE

Your hands lie open in the long fresh grassA
The finger points look through the rosy bloomsB
Your eyes smile peace The pasture gleams and gloomsB
'Neath billowing skies that scatter and amassB
All round our nest far as the eye can passB
Are golden kingcup fields with silver edgeC
Where the cow parsley skirts the hawthorn hedgeC
'Tis visible silence still as the hour glassB
-
Deep in the sun searched growths the dragon flyD
Hangs like a blue thread loosened from the skyD
So this wing'd hour is dropt to us from aboveE
Oh clasp we to our hearts for deathless dowerF
This close companioned inarticulate hourG
When twofold silence was the song of loveE
