In The Train, And At Versailles Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBABCDDEF

In a dull swiftness we are carried byA
With bodies left at sway and shaking kneesB
The wind has ceased or is a feeble breezeB
Warm in the sun The leaves are not yet dryA
From yesterday's dense rain All low and highA
A strong green country but among its treesB
Ruddy and thin with Autumn After theseB
There is the city still before the skyA
Versailles is reached Pass we the galleriesB
And seek the gardens A great silence hereC
Through the long planted alleys to the longD
Distance of water More than tune or songD
Silence shall grow to awe within thine eyesE
Till thy thought swim with the blue turning sphereF
