At Issue Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis
Rhyme Scheme: ABCAABBADEFFED| THAT voice I hear how heard I cannot tell | A |
| Although my home is this seems from my home | B |
| There still it trails along and murmurs Come | C |
| Like the slow death of sound within a bell | A |
| Or like the humming whine in some pink shell | A |
| Wet with the brittle beadage of the foam | B |
| Which bird eyed damsels stoop for when they roam | B |
| By the old sea Were't not exceeding well | A |
| To shake my soul out of this tiresome life | D |
| For a call any whence and any whither | E |
| That voice knows all the life I have or had | F |
| And mocks me not it's whisper is too sad | F |
| Even to attain calm sorrow lures me thither | E |
| Since here this search for joy wearies like strife | D |
