A Foretaste Poem Rhyme Scheme and Analysis

Rhyme Scheme: ABBAABBACDECDE

AT length the then of my long hope was nowA
Yet had my spirit an extreme unrestB
I knew the good from better was grown bestB
At length but could not just as yet tell howA
So I lay straight along and thrust my browA
Under the heights of grass Hours struck The WestB
I knew must be at change but gazed not lestB
The heat against my naked face no boughA
For shade should tease me mad like poisoned spiceC
I lay along letting my whole self thinkD
Pressing my brow down that the thoughts might fixE
Just as a dicer who holds loaded diceC
Sure of his cast keeps trifling with his drinkD
Ere he will throw and still must taste and mixE
